The rock band, Muse, came in second in the poll, followed by Foo Fighters, U2 and Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, Guns 'N Roses, Karen O and Rihanna completed the top 10. Chris Tilly, the website's entertainment editor, said:
"If producers are still not sure about their choice to sing the next Bond theme, the fans are clearly backing Adele. She's a global superstar and clearly has the vocal talent to produce a big Bond song reminiscent of Shirley Bassey and Lulu, rather than the forgettable misfires recorded more recently by the likes of Garbage and Madonna."
Even though there hasn't been any official confirmation of what film Adele was talking about, fans are already anticipating that it's indeed Skyfall.
You can expect Skyfall, directed by Sam Mendes and starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, Dame Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Helen McCrory and Bèrènice Marlohe, to be in theatres on October 26th, 2012.
